At the Union Labor Advisory Network, our work continues to be driven by the strength and momentum of the union movement. Every day, we see the impact union labor has on building strong communities, and we remain committed to supporting the hardworking men and women behind it.

This year, our focus is on expanding partnerships that create real pathways into the trades. By working alongside the Workforce Development Institute and strengthening Career and Technical Education programs, we are helping connect the next generation to union apprenticeship opportunities. We are also proud to support and promote NY Helmets to Hardhats, which plays a critical role in helping veterans transition into union careers in the building trades. At the same time, our charitable efforts continue through the ULA Network Charitable Foundation and Vets 4 Vets Community Construction Projects.

Our mission remains clear: support, educate, and promote union labor and our communities. That means uplifting tradeswomen, supporting union veterans, encouraging young people to pursue careers in the trades, and continuing important conversations around mental wellness and member benefits.

None of this work would be possible without the support of our sponsors and union partners. Their commitment allows us to elevate union voices, highlight member services, and strengthen the communities we proudly serve.

We look forward to continuing this work and building new opportunities together.

IBEW Local 25 President John Guadagno reflects on over a decade of leadership and what drives his commitment to the union movement. For him, it’s about service, community, and the impact of union membership, creating opportunity, stability, and pride that often inspires members to give back. His message is clear: union strength comes from its people, leadership is service, and solidarity builds stronger communities.
