The Union Labor Advisory Network continues to grow through the strength of our union partners, sponsors, and supporters who share a commitment to building stronger communities and creating opportunities for working families. As our network continues to expand, we remain focused on highlighting the people, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen the union workforce. From conversations with industry leaders and the work of our valued sponsors to upcoming events and stories from across the labor movement, there is no shortage of important work taking place within our community.
In the months ahead, we are excited to advance several new veteran-focused initiatives aimed at improving and revitalizing VFW and veterans’ halls. Through remediation, repairs, and facility upgrades, these projects will help create welcoming spaces where veterans can gather, connect, and enjoy the camaraderie that is so important to their communities. We also look forward to highlighting Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and workforce development partnerships that are helping introduce the next generation to rewarding careers in the union trades.

Vets4Vets: Union Trades Restore Marine Corps Reserve Memorial at Floyd Bennett Field
The ULA Network Charitable Foundation’s Vets4Vets Community Construction Project brings union tradespeople, veterans, volunteers, contractors, suppliers, and community partners together to restore a Marine Corps Reserve memorial at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. Captain Selina Chiep shares an update on the project and the collective effort to honor those who served by giving back through skilled trades, service, and community partnership.
